Hamsters are curious, active, and cuddly creatures. I breed Syrian hamsters, which is the larger pet hamster species; I currently do not have dwarf hamsters. Syrians are the same species as teddy bear, panda bear, golden, fancy, etc. hamsters―those are simply nicknames or varieties. I focus mainly on long-haired Syrians (usually called teddy bears) in limited colors/markings with a focus on genetic temperament and socialization to make great pet hamsters.
Syrian hamsters (unlike dwarves) must be housed alone and not kept with any other hamsters. Syrian cohabitation leads to stress, squabbling, fights, and cannibalism, and isn't recommended even if the hamsters seem to get along. The cost for one is $15, and if you show that you have separate housing units, you may buy additional hamsters of the same sex. In order to purchase a hamster, you must submit an adoption application. Once you have applied, I will contact you regarding your eligibility within a few days. After being accepted, you will be added to a waitlist and will be able to reserve your desired hamster as soon as it is available. I have hamster litters about once every two months or so. I normally advertise babies up for reservation on my Facebook page when they are about 3 weeks old, and they may be picked up starting at 5 weeks old. Reservation of babies does not require a deposit unless you are reserving more than just one; if a deposit is needed, you may send half of the total through PayPal (all deposits are nonrefundable) and pay the remaining balance at pickup.
Please read my policies first and then contact me for more information. Before adopting hamsters, please do some online research and ask me any and all questions about their care. I will soon add a care guide to this page.
